Analytical Framework (AF)
The AF’s purpose is to enable JPEO-CBRND senior leadership to make analytically sound and data-supported acquisition decisions by developing, adapting, and using robust, quantitative, and repeatable analytical capabilities using authoritative data.
The AF’s purpose is to enable JPEO-CBRND senior leadership to make analytically sound and data-supported acquisition decisions by developing, adapting, and using robust, quantitative, and repeatable analytical capabilities using authoritative data. RTI personnel have developed and supported these efforts from its beginning:
Portfolio Analytics – to examine operational mission gaps/trends in current threats and capabilities to provide information to enable capability set development. This uses AI-enabled processing to decompose and match mission requirements, training requirements, and testing requirements against existing and proposed capabilities.
System Analytics – pairs system engineering principles with computer-based models, visualizations, and discrete simulation tools by using threat models (the JPEO-CBRND Joint Effects Model and the DTRA Hazard Prediction and Assessment Capability) to provide detailed threat information for various threat scenarios. Advanced visualization tools show the relative effects of tradeoffs between capabilities, CONOPs, and tactics.
Combat Analytics – provides a system of systems view within an operational context to determine what effect current capabilities and new capabilities have on mission success.
