milCloud 1.0

The Department of Defense’s milCloud 1.0 was the first Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) cloud hosting environment approved for hosting operational Warfighter systems on both the NIPRNet and SIPRNet. Domenix personnel were instrumental in:

- Evaluating capabilities required for deployment to operational forces in multiple theaters with a focus on CENTCOM and PACOM

- Requirements analysis and network architecture necessary to transfer software to the milCloud 1.0 environment on NIPRNet and SIPRNet

- Transitioning previously host-platform-specific capabilities into an enterprise information system capability

- Working hand in hand with CENTCOM and PACOM to utilize the capabilities for training and operations

​- Facilitating interoperability with force protection information systems providing a comprehensive protection package

- Transferring all lessons learned and experience into the milCloud 2.0 environment for new customers
